1. Purpose
This procedure evaluates the flexural endurance of Anyang cables under accelerated operational cycling, verifying their ability to maintain critical electrical performance when subjected to repetitive bending motions typical of cable carrier applications. Testing confirms compliance with Anyang Motion Cable Specifications, relevant industry standards, and safety requirements.
2. Methodology
Prepared cable specimens are cut to defined lengths, mechanically stabilized, and straightened as necessary. Conductors are terminated at both ends and interconnected in a series circuit configuration. A regulated current is applied throughout the testing duration.
During flexural cycling, integrated audible and visual monitoring systems continuously track electrical integrity. The test apparatus is calibrated to maintain specific bend radius parameters and cycling frequency. Testing concludes when the designated flex cycle count is attained or upon detection of electrical failure by the monitoring system.
3. Data Analysis
Performance data is electronically processed and validated against predetermined acceptance criteria through automated comparison protocols, ensuring objective assessment and result accuracy.
