1. Purpose
This test evaluates the electrical properties of Anyang wires to confirm that critical insulation resistance values are maintained under accelerated wet high-temperature conditions. Testing is performed to validate compliance with Anyang Insulation Resistance Cable Specifications, applicable Industry Test Methods, and Safety Agency Standards.
2. Methodology
Wire specimens are cut to a specified length, coiled, and stripped at both ends to expose the conductor. The prepared samples are immersed in a circulating high-temperature water bath, with the terminated ends extending above the waterline.
A continuous DC voltage is applied to each specimen for a defined duration while submerged. Insulation resistance measurements are recorded at predetermined intervals throughout the test period. The collected data is graphically analyzed to characterize insulation resistance performance under testing conditions.
Testing concludes after the final scheduled measurement is completed.
3. Data Analysis
All test results are electronically validated against established standard requirements to prevent interpretation errors and ensure measurement accuracy.
