1. Purpose
This procedure evaluates the physical and chemical properties of Anyang wires and cables to verify retention of critical mechanical properties—specifically tensile strength and elongation—following exposure to hydrocarbon-based fluids. Testing confirms compliance with Anyang Oil Resistance Cable Specifications, applicable industry standards, and safety agency requirements.
2. Methodology
Tubular or die-cut specimens are prepared to specified dimensions and fully immersed in the designated test fluid. The submerged samples are conditioned in a mechanical convection oven at elevated temperature for a prescribed duration.
Following the aging cycle, specimens are removed and stabilized at ambient conditions for a defined recovery period. Each sample is then mounted in a tensile testing apparatus and subjected to controlled elongation at a constant rate until fracture occurs.
3. Data Analysis
Post-exposure tensile strength and elongation values are electronically compared against standardized requirements through automated validation protocols, ensuring objective evaluation and measurement accuracy.
4. Compliance Standards
